Funeral services for Mr. Stanley Waymon Vaughn, 79, of Livingston will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 17 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Miller Cemetery, Allons, TN.  The family will receive friends Friday after 5 p.m.

Mr. Vaughn died May 15, 2003 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.  He was born August 11, 1923 in Pickett County to the late Benjamin and Myrtie Lee Arney Vaughn.  He was a furniture factory worker.

He was a member of Frogtown Church of Christ and a veteran of the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie Irene Vaughn of Livingston; 3 sons, James Vaughn of Hilham, Charles Vaughn of Monroe, and Randell Vaughn of Allons; 5 daughters, Kay Staggs, Carol Auberson, and Arlene Long all of Livingston, Mary Gilpatrick of Jamestown, KY, and Peggy Sullivan of Rickman; 5 brothers, Ed Vaughn and Tom Vaughn, both of Livingston, Bill Vaughn, Bob Vaughn, & Ken Vaughn, all of Hilham; 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by parents, grandson, Tony Staggs, great-grandsons, Eric & Derrick Staggs, 3 sisters, and 5 brothers.
