Funeral services for Mr. William C. "W.C." Poston, 85, of Livingston were conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday November 26 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mr. Poston died November 24, 2006 at Overton County Nursing Home.  He was born November 2, 1921 in Overton County to the late William Canada and Myrtle Lou Fry Poston.  He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.

He was a member of Willow Grove Church of Christ, Livingston Lodge #259, Frizzell Council #84, Evening Star Chapter #136, Cumberland Commandry #26, Al Menah Shrine, and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by a son, Horace (& Marcie) Poston of Livingston, daughter, Gina Poston (& Brent) Bumgarner of Franklin, step-son, Robert Allred of Livingston, and 5 grandchildren, Tara and Addison Bumgarner, Justin Poston, and Whitney and Kylor Allred.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Effer Lee Poston, and a brother: Ray Poston.
