services for Mr. Thurman M. "Cotton" Edmonds, 79, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday April 8 from Overton County Memorial Gardens, Livingston, TN.
Mr. Edmonds died April 7, 2005 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born August 2, 1925 in Overton County to the late Rufus and Gooliey Wilson Edmonds. He was a maintenance supervisor with Tennessee Tech.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Olene Edmonds of Livingston; 5 daughters, Brenda Sue Porter, Caren Gail Young, Emma Nell Navarro, and Shannon Edmonds, all of Livingston and Wanda Rich of Lebanon; 2 sons, Thurman Edmonds, Jr. of Cookeville and Ronald Glen Edmonds of Livingston; 10 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild; and a special friend, Laurie Hill of Livingston.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Larry Wayne Edmonds, granddaughters: Christy Renee Key and Chelsea Lynn Edmonds, and a sister: Gladys Barnes.
