services for Mr. Robert E. Carr, 63, of Livingston will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, in the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in the Overton County Memorial Gardens with a military service by the Honor Guard of the U. S. Navy, Knoxville & Ft. Campbell with full military honors.
Mr. Carr died on March 20, 2002 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Overton County to Alvin Coy Carr and the late Myra M. Norris Carr. He is a retired Chief Petty Officer E-7 from the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Battle Creek, MI since 1950, Fleet Reserve Association, Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team International, & various other military/civilian associated organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Le Thi-Trong Carr, Livingston, daughter, Rickie McQueen, Hermitage, TN, sons, Robert E. Carr, II of Murfreesboro and Ngoc Min-Le Carr of Colorado Springs, CO, sister, father, Alvin C. Carr of Livingston, Judy A. McCraw, Konawa, OK, 7 grandchildren, April R., Allen W., Chico T. & Shelby T. McQueen, Payton S. Carr, and Dylan R. & Kylan J. Jackson.
Preceded in death by his mother, Myra M. Norris Carr.
