Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Mae Nolen, 79, of the Highland Mountain Community will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, November 17 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Oakley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1 - 9 p.m.
Mrs. Nolen died November 14, 2006 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born February 24, 1927 in Overton County to the late Ben W. and Edna Oakley Smith. She was a housewife.
She was Baptist in faith.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Haskell Nolen of Livingston; 2 sisters, Georgia Ledbetter of Livingston and Willo Frances Smith of the Highland Mountain Community; a brother, McCoy Smith of the Highland Mountain Community; 3 nephews, Bub Stockton, Ricky Ledbetter, Ronnie Smith; a niece, Margaret Collins; 4 great-nephews, Chad and Slade Collins, Lance Smith, and Levi Ledbetter; and 2 great-nieces, Lacey Smith and Jada Ledbetter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law: Anna Ray and Cecil Stockton, and a niece: Brenda Carol Melton.
Pallbearers to serve are Bub Stockton, Rick Ledbetter, Ronnie Smith, Chad, Slade, and Dallas Collins, Lance Smith, & Levi Ledbetter.
