Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Delores McCoy, 72, of Rickman will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 27 from the Chapel of Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home, Norton, Virginia with burial in the Laurel Grove Cemetery, Norton, Virginia.

Mrs. McCoy died August 24, 2002 at Livingston Regional Hospital.  She was born November 25, 1929 in Wise County, VA to the late John and Dona Vaughn Phillips.  She was a housewife.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Robin Hess & Nancy Carico, both of Rickman; a sister, Wilma Redman of Norton, VA; brother, John Phillips of Pulaski, VA; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sidney "Buddy C." McCoy, son, Johnny Wayne McCoy, sisters, Ocie Harding & Dorothy Masters, brothers Morgan and Roy Phillips, and her parents.
