Masters, 83, of Upper Hilham Road, Livingston will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, Tennessee with burial in the Fiske Cemetery.

Mr. Masters died on December 9, 2001 at the Overton County Nursing Home.  He was born September 6, 1918 in Overton County to the late James Samuel and Flora Jane Fleming Masters.  He was a farmer.

He was a member of the Hilham Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Meekle Masters of Livingston, a son & daughter-in-law, Sam & Melissa Masters of Rickman, 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, & Tucker Masters, 2 sisters, Gertie Lee Masters and Eileen Evans, both of Columbia, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Jewel Masters and Golda Ogletree, brothers, Bill, Roy, and Ben Masters.
