Funeral services for Mrs. Mitzi Windle Rupe, 47, of Cookeville formerly of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday February 16 from the First Christian Church in Livingston, TN with burial in Bethsaida Cemetery, Monroe, TN.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. and from 12 noon until service at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Mrs. Rupe died February 13, 2006 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 17, 1958 in Putnam County to Perry H. and Onita McDonald Windle.  She was a Registered Nurse/Nurse Anesthetist.

She was an active member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Livingston.   She was a graduate of Livingston Academy in 1976, U. T. Knoxville, U.T. Chattanooga, and Wake Forrest University, Winston-Salem, NC.  She was also a member of AANA.

She is survived by her husband, Larry E. Rupe of Cookeville; step-son, David Rupe of Livingston; step-daughter, Deborah Rupe of Erie, PA; her parents, Perry H. & Onita Windle of Livingston; 2 brothers, Chip Windle of Knoxville and State Representative John Mark Windle of Livingston; a niece, Stephanie Windle and nephew, Bradley Windle.
