Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Norris Phillips, 87, of Livingston will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday April 10 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m.

Mrs. Phillips died April 7, 2007 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was born May 4, 1919 in Overton County to the late Young Terry and Scytha Eva French Poston. She was a hospital dietary supervisor.

She was Baptist in faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara (& Steve) Keisling of Monroe and Sherry Manuel of Hernando, Mississippi; son, Larry (& Joyce) Norris of Livingston; sister, Pauline Barnwell of Crossville; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Jack Phillips, and 2 sons, Terry & Paul Norris.

Pallbearers to serve are Jerry White, Mike Dishman, Meredith Norris, Joe Garrett, Jerry Garrett, & Robert Ledbetter. Honorary pallbearer: Arvil Reeder.
