Funeral services for Mr. Lonza Harrison Stover, 83, of Livingston were conducted at 12 noon, Saturday June 16 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN. There was a military service performed after the funeral service by the Honor Guard from the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062, Livingston.
Mr. Stover died June 13, 2007 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born October 20, 1923 n Overton County to the late Alonzo Virgil and Nova Ethel Sells Stover. He was a mill wright.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Paula (Tim) Corrick of Akron, OH, Patsy (Joseph) Shamholtz of Petersburg, WV, and Portia Stover of Akron, OH; 2 sons, Lonza V. Stover of St. Petersburg, FL and Larry Stover of Livingston; 2 sisters, Aletha Gunnels of Livingston and Amelia Hanana of Marion, OH; 2 brothers, Joe Stover of Barberton, OH and Kenneth Stover of Stow, OH; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister: Oleeta Smith, and brothers: Ronald, Malcolm, & Edward Stover.
Pallbearers were Ronnie & Rick Gunnels, Lonnie, Larry, & Jerry Stover, & Tim Corrick.
