Funeral services for Mr. Ronald V. Crabtree, 74, of Cookeville will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday July 2 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Hoover Cemetery, Allons, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4 - 8 p.m.

Mr. Crabtree died June 30, 2007 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 8, 1933 in Overton County to the late James William "Bill", Sr. & Dillie Cargile Crabtree. He was a businessman & ambulance director.

He was a member of Allons Baptist Church and Allons Senior Citizens and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Hoover Crabtree of Cookeville; daughter & son-in-law, Joanna & Earl McNeely of Algood; son & daughter-in-law, Mike & Melissa Crabtree of Maryville, TN; 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Max (& Nina) Crabtree, Jack (& Reba) Crabtree, and Bill, Jr. (& Thelma) Crabtree, all of Livingston.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers to serve are Durran Lewis, Rick Brown, Derrick Crabtree, Daniel Brook, Monty Smith, & Roy Lee Seber.
