Funeral services for Mr. Carvel H. Warden, 86, of Huber Heights, OH formerly of Overton County will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday July 5 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston with burial in Holly Springs Cemetery, Livingston, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Warden died June 30, 2007 at his home in Ohio. He was born April 8, 1921 in Overton County to the late Horace and Avo Ogletree Warden. He was retired from General Motors with 32 years of service.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bernice (Davis) Warden; 2 granddaughters, Carmen Oberg and Kelly Lynn Warden; great-grandson, Robert Oberg; brother, Bill C. Warden; and sister, Zella May Gore.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons: Robert and Kelly Gene Warden, brother: Thomas Warden, and 2 sisters: Leron Leffer and Imogene Smith.
