Funeral services for Mrs. Quannie Reagan Garrett, 85, of Monroe, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday September 11, 2007 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, with burial in the Nelson Cemetery in Monroe. Rev. Dee Ledford, Rev. Larry Campbell and Shelia Lancaster will officiate at the services. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. on Monday evening.
Mrs. Garrett died September 9, 2007 at the Bethesda Health Care in Cookeville, Tn. She was born in Overton County Tennessee to the late Jasper and Louella Deck Worley.
She was a member of the McDonalds Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from the dietary department at the Lady Ann Hospital in Livingston.(Now Livingston Regional Hospital.)
She is survived by two sons Lynn Reagan of Monroe, and Jim Garrett of Livingston, two Daughters Teresa Lee on Monroe, and Martha Phillips of Hilham. Nine Grandchildren, four Great-Grandchildren, and three Great-Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by a special friend Meekle Masters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Thurman Reagan and Columbus Garrett, sisters Gladys Dennis and Mable Conner, brothers Ward Worley, Adolph Worley, Arthur D. Worley, and one Great-Grandson Tyler Lancaster.
