Funeral Services for Mr. Stanley Nelson, age 84, of Rickman, Tn. will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, April 14, 2008. from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, Tn. with burial in the Okolona Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday From 3 until 9 p.m.
Mr. Nelson died April 11, 2008 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born July 15, 1923 in Overton County to the late Joe & Lizzie Hammons Nelson. He was a factory worker at Berkline Funiture Company.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during W.W. II.
He is survived by His Daughters: Judy Clark of Rickman, Tn. Eva Chambers of Rickman, Tn. Pat Hooks of Hardys Chapel community, Brenda Clark of Rickman, Tn. Jackie Overholt of Ecquador. Donna Cox of Indiana, Helen Walker of Livingston, Tn. Elaine Allen of Hilham, Tn. Melissa Bright of Dodson Branch, Tn. Also Survived by his Sons: Billy Joe Nelson of Indiana, Jimmy Nelson of Celina, Tn. Ricky Nelson of Algood, Tn. Danny Nelson of Rickman, Tn. One Sister: Dean Halsell of Livingston, Tn. (31) Grandchildren, (21) Great-Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: his wife: Frances Evelyn Stewart Nelson, (3) Grandchildren
