Funeral services for Mrs. Mary R. Taylor, age 85, of Monroe will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, February 8 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with Bro. Cecil Shaw officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Monroe, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.
Mrs. Taylor died February 6, 2009 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born April 26, 1923 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Martha Dietrich Ramsey. She was a grocery store owner & operator.
She was a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Phillip Clouse of Monroe; sisters, Betty Dipoalo of Stark, FL and Martha Ballenge of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Teresa & David Redden & their children, Andrew, Jacob, & Lucas, Amy & Tony Conner & their children, Rhea Lynn, Hannah, & Haleigh of Monroe, David & Jennifer Clouse & their children, Allie, Mason, & Westyn of Monroe, and James & Lora Clouse & their daughter, Emery of Allons.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul E. Taylor.
Pallbearers to serve are Danny Bailey, Darrell Beason, Mark Garrett, John Mark Ramsey, Rick Reeder, J. D. Winningham, & Roger Harvey.
