Funeral services for Mrs. Lerlene Coleman, age 88, of Livingston, will be conducted 10 A.M., Monday, March 2, 2009 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston, with Rev. Craig Green officiating. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens in Livingston. The family will reveive friends 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Sunday evening.
Mrs. Coleman died February 28, 2009 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Clay County Tennessee on June 15, 1920 to the late Donald Steakley and Mattie Daniels Steakley Mabrey. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Livingston and a housewife and a photographer.
She is survived by a son and daugther-in-law David & Cheryl Coleman of Livingston, neices and nephews; Sharon Calton Hall, Beverly Salehi, Johnny Fred Coleman, Jim Coleman, Betty Sue Ledbetter, Joe Coleman, Patsy Williams, Carolyn Qualls, Rita Hillis, Sandra Johnson, and Steve Norris.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Minor M. Coleman, a sister Marguerite Trogan, and step-father Sid Mabry.
Pallbearers are Greg Etheredge, Jerry Boles, Jon Swift, Chris Halfacre, Ray Smith, and Jonathan Storie.
