Graveside services for Mrs. Treva Cleghorn Payton, age 81, of Anderson, IN and formerly of Overton County will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 7, 2010 from the Honey Springs Cemetery in Crawford, TN with burial to follow. The family will receive friends at the service.

Mrs. Payton died March 2, 2010 at the St. John's Health System in Anderson, IN. She was born October 25, 1928 in Overton County to the late Lee and Lizzie Landers Cleghorn. She was a homemaker and she loved gardening.

She is survived by a sister, Rosemary (& John) Haggerman of Anderson, IN; special nephews, Ronny Joe Vaughn of Cookeville and Teddy Reeves of Anderson; and nieces, Pamela (& Jeff) Trent of Anderson, IN and Michelle (& Paul) Boner of Moonsville, IN.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Fred Payton, sisters: Reba Vaughn & Bobbie Key, and brothers: Junior and Jim Cleghorn.
