Funeral services for Mr. Frank Beaty, age 84, of Crossville formerly of Overton County will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. David Beaty. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery in Alpine, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. until services at 3 p.m.

Mr. Beaty died May 15, 2010 at Crossville Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1925 in Overton County to the late Herman and Pearl Vaughn Beaty. He was an iron worker in steel construction.

He was a member of West Fork Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Joan White Beaty of Crossville; sons, Alan (& Teresia) Beaty of Franklin, TN and Steve (& Betty) Beaty of St. Joseph, MI; sisters, Willie May (& Richard) Kline of North Hollywood, CA and Helen (& Alex) Clark of Lufkin, TX; brother, Dock (& Martha) Beaty of Crossville; grandchildren, Shane, Jeremiah, Joshua, Nicholas, Nathan, & Jason Beaty; and great-grandchild, River Bear Beaty.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Sam Beaty, Pat Beatty, & John Beatty and sisters: Erma Smith and Judy Humble.
