WILLIAM LARRY WINNINGHAM

Funeral services for Mr. William Larry Winningham, age 62, of Hilham will be conducted at 3 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2011 from the Netherland Church of Christ in Rickman with Bro. Mark Loftis officiating. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery in Hilham. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church and from 12 noon until services at 3 p.m. on Friday.

Mr. Winningham died September 5, 2011 at his home. He was born June 22, 1959 in Overton County to William Clyde and Edwina Carwile Winningham. He was an electrician and plumber who owned and operated Winningham Electric. He was also a school bus driver for the Hilham Elementary School for 16 years.

He was a member and past elder of the Netherland Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Barbara Webb Winningham of Hilham; daughter & son-in-law, Emily & Chris Hammock of Hilham; son, Jason Winningham of Livingston; mother & step-father, Edwina & Howard Branham of Hilham; sister, Louise & husband, Pat Swallows of Livingston; step-sister, Wanda Shantz of Arlington, TX; 4 grandchildren, Alexandra, Lochlan, & Eliza Hammock and Quinton Cross.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Clyde Winningham and father-in-law,Dempsie Webb.

Pallbearers to serve are Steve Gilpatrick, Kyle Story, Scott Ryan, Adam Ryan, Grant Swallows, & Lindon Carwile. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Parsons, Earl Carwile, and Elders of Netherland Church of Christ: Jim Baggerly, Ray Austin, John Randolph, and Jerry Jolley.
