Funeral services for Mrs. Clara B. Hunter, age 84, of Allons will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. Burial will be in the Hunter Cove Cemetery in Allons. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4 until 9 p.m. There will be an Eastern Star service conducted at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Hunter passed away on July 1, 2012 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born September 10, 1927 in Overton County to the late Arland & Carmon Sells Johnson. She was an aide with the Headstart Program.

She was a member of Allons Church of Christ and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Vivian & Roger Hall of Cookeville and Cathy and Gary Handy of Rickman; sisters, Clema Hunter & husband, Claudis and Catherine Willis & husband, Gene, all of Allons; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, & 2 step-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Floyd Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: T. D. Hunter, son: Tommy Hunter, & brother: Coy Johnson.
