HENRY ATKINS

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Atkins, age 94, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday March 5, 2013 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev Don Maxson officiating. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery in Alpine. The family will recieve friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Atkins passes away on March 2, 2013 at his home. He was born October 9, 1918 in Grimsley, TN to the late Thomas Franklin and Armilda Brown Atkins. He was an assistant manager for building supply company.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII.

He is survived by a son, Henson Atkins of Crossville; step-son, Wayne & wife, Denise Ferrell of Livingston; 4 grandchildren, Lora Deck, Trudie Langford, James Ferrell, & Jennifer Walker; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wives: Nettie Mae Campbell Atkins and Hazel Choate Ferrell Atkins, brothers: Ray, Merville, Amon, & Tillman Atkins, and sisters: Minnie Wakefield, Lola Cobb, and Mary Jane King.

Pallbearers to serve are Gary and Rodney Cravens, Tyler McCullar, Brian Errick, James Ferrell, and Kalin McCullar.
