Funeral services for Mrs. Bobbie Jean White Maynord, age 83, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Derrek Copeland will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.Mrs. Bobbie passed peacefully from this life on Sunday morning, November 12, 2017 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. She was born at home in Monroe on July 3, 1934 to the late Albert Ida Smith White. Bobbie was Baptist in Faith. She worked for many years as a seamstress for the local garment industry in Livingston. Bobbie was a very crafty lady, who enjoyed cooking and quilting for all her friends and family. She loved NASCAR, and was fundamental in starting the shirt factory reunions, where she loved to catch up, and meet all her old friends.She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Evelyn White Chilton husband Bryan of Livingston, TN.; nieces, Susan Asberry husband Jake Beth Payne husband Tim; nephews, Rick Hoover wife Kim, Mike Hoover wife Jennifer John Allred; sister-in-laws, Virginia D. White, wife of the late Willie D. White Audrey White, wife of the late J.D. White; also several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Barnie Maynord; son, Terry White; sisters, Linnie White Allred, Tissie Mae White Brown, Udean White Hoover, Ella V. White Smith Nettie Jane White Johnson; brothers, Orbit, Corbit, Willard, Willie D., J. D., Dick White.Pallbearers to serve are Rick Hoover, Danny Hoover, Bryan Chilton, Jake Asberry, Thomas Ledford Mike Hoover.Honorary Pallbearers are John Allred Jerry White.
I have nothing but great memories of our summer vacation trips to visit my Dad's family. Aunt Bobbie was always there and made this a special time for all of us to remember for the rest of our lives. God holds a special place for her and she lives on in all our hearts. Don and Denise White
