As I heard someone say last week, Hoy is probably the most well known man in Overton County. I remember him well when he would hang out with the employees of the Livingston City Pool in the '80's. A gentle soul with many friends.
Hoy was one in a million. I have a lot of memories of Hoy helping us on the farm when I was growing up. He was a fixture in the community. Now he's reunited with his mother.

I cannot remember a time when I didn't know Hoy. In the past several years, he was a frequent visitor at the office where I work. He always had a smile on his face. As he was leaving, he would always ask me to be uneasy about him and he would be uneasy about me. I hope that Hoy is now at peace but I will certainly miss him. RIP, Hoy!
To Hoy's Family We were saddened and shocked at Hoy's passing. Just remember he will always be alive in your hearts and in your memories. Praying the loving comforting and calming touch of The Master's Hand. Thinking of all of you in Christ's love. God bless and keep you.

Hoy had a beautiful soul fulfilled with love and kindness. I feel blessed to have known him. My prayers are with his family.
I used to see mr worley of the morning on my way to work always riding his bicycle until one cold day he was thumbing it. I stopped and picked him up and he said his bike was messed up and he didn't have any way to get around on his own. He thanked me over and over for picking him up and taking him into town and told me if I ever needed help and he saw me, he would help me out because that was how he did things. He helped people who helped him. We sure had a good conversation that morning and I always looked for him to see if he needed another ride. He was a very nice man and I will miss seeing him.
I take comfort knowing that my friend Hoy is now resting in the arms of the Lord. You will truly be miss.My condolence to his family.
