Speck Funeral Home - Gladys Marie Stover Obituary

Celebration of Life Services Honoring the life of Mrs. Gladys Marie Stover, age 93, of the Buck Mountain Road Community, in Putnam County, Tennessee will be conducted at a later date.

Mrs. Gladys passed from this life on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from the Signature of Putnam County.  She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on December 20, 1930, to the late Elijah and Rosevelle Whitaker Cleghorn.  Gladys was a member of Circle Drive Freewill Baptist Church in Algood.  She worked at the Shirt Factory for many years.  Gladys liked word search Puzzles, going for walks, making quilts, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Stover; daughter, Brenda Harp; son-in-law, Harold Harp; sisters, Ozzie Norris, Annie Threet, Louise Norris, Sarilda Roberts, Gail Roberts, Rosezell Dial, and Violet Nelson; brother, Doyle Cleghorn; and granddaughter, Karen Spurlock.

Gladys leaves behind her grandchildren, Donnita Pearson, Veronica Johnson, and Melissa Harp; great-grandchildren, Amanda Roberts, and Holley Read; great greatgrandchildren, Ashlyn Goodpastor, Brianna Goodpastor, Kyndrick Read, and Charlie Boles
