Graveside services for Mr. Jackie Daniel Puckett, age 69 of Monroe, will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Good Hope Cemetery with military honors provided at graveside by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends at graveside.
Mr. Puckett passed from this life on Saturday morning, May 9, 2020, from Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 8, 1951, to the late Johnny D. Puckett and Pauline Linder. He was a Christian and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was known for his gift of auto body repair, his love for his dogs, his giving heart, and especially the love of his son. He was a 1970 graduate of Livingston Academy.
Jackie leaves behind his loving son Travis Puckett and wife Traci of Monroe; brothers Eddie Puckett and wife Sylvia of Byrdstown and Johnny Ray Linder of Livingston; sisters Eva Puckett of Crossville and Agnes Garrett of Livingston; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; many friends; and lifelong friends Jackie Buck and wife Brenda of Livingston and Archie Snead and wife Karyl of Onamia, Minnesota. A very special thanks to friend and caretaker Emily Dishman, the Quality Home Health Care Staff, and Mr. Puckett's nursing aid "Ms. Sharon."
Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers to serve are Travis Puckett, David Puckett, Eddie Puckett Jr., Larry Remendowski, Johnny Wayne Linder, and Roger Linder. Honorary Pallbearers are Johnny Ray Linder, Jackie Buck, Eddie Puckett, Casey Tinsley, and David Dorminey, Jr.
