Jody Allen McBride passed away peacefully in Pittsburg, PA in his home on Sunday, June 29th 2025. He was born to his parents Lester G. McBride and Carlene Alice McBride on October 7, 1977, in Battle Creek, MI. He spent his early childhood in Algood, TN. Later, he and his family moved to Rickman, TN. There he attended and graduated high school at Livingston Academy in 1995. 

 

Jody was a gifted artist that did storyboards for movie projects in California. He lived in Nevada for a stint. There he would travel around the Northwest. Jody worked for the past decade in the private sector of Atlantic Aviation. His co-workers valued his loyalty, and how he always handled his job professionally.

 

Jody was a gem of a human-being. Anyone that knew him knew there was nothing generic about his personality. With his quick wit and sense of humor he could keep anyone on their toes. Jody was hard-working, loyal, and loved by all lives he touched. He was a genuine human-being with a beautiful soul. Jody was irreplaceable and will leave a huge void. 

 

Jody is survived by his only son, Samuel William McBride (age 10); his Father Lester G. McBride; and his siblings Johnathan David McBride of Rickman and his wife Betty and nephew Blake. His sister Angela Tinnon of Cookeville, TN and her family Sara, Josh, Kara and Abbey. Younger sister Ammie McBride Huddleston and husband Charles T. Huddleston and their boys Carter Thomas and Austin. 

 

He was also proceeded in death by his mother Carlene Alice McBride (2020) which was his rock. Also proceeded in death by many Aunts and Uncles that he cherished. 

 

His private celebration of life service will be held at a later date. If anyone wants to give proceeds to his son, a trust will be set-up. They can be mailed to 1100 Sheraton Drive, Cookeville, Tn 38501 in-lieu of flowers.
