In Loving Memory of Mr. Bobby Edward Reeder
February 27, 1955 – June 16, 2025

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Edward Reeder, age 70, of Livingston, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025, in the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Timmy Ray officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

Bobby passed from this life on Monday afternoon, June 16, 2025, from the comfort of his home. He was born on February 27, 1955, in the Independence Community of Overton County, to the late James Edward and Julie Ledbetter Reeder.

A man of few words but strong convictions, Bobby lived a life rooted in faith, family, and hard work. He was a member of Turkey Town Holiness Church and spent many years working as a foreman with Carwile Mechanical Contractors. Reliable and respected by all who knew him, Bobby took pride in a job well done and never shied away from a full day’s work.

He was most at peace outdoors—gardening, tending to his yard, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty of nature. He had a knack for fixing things and was always the first to lend a helping hand when someone needed it. He didn’t look for recognition or praise—he just did what needed to be done.

Above all, Bobby was a family man. He found his greatest joy in his children and grandchildren, and his quiet strength and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Carla Reeder and April Reeder; his grandchildren, Jacob Morgan, Ethan Morgan, and Jase Tate; and his sister, Elizabeth Reeder.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Nay Dean Cox Reeder; his son, James Reeder; and his brother, Bill Reeder.

Serving as pallbearers are:
Matt Brown, David "Smitty" Smith, Terry Coleman, Chris Mabe, Scottie Mabe, Ethan Morgan, Jacob “Jake” Morgan, and Ben Reeder.

Bobby Reeder leaves behind a legacy of humility, quiet strength, and the kind of steady, dependable love that endures.
