Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, brother Larie Conner, sisters Winnie Ann Dailey, Opal Richardson, and his twin sister Geneva Staggs.

Cecil was a world traveler who was fascinated by other cultures, food etc. but always enjoyed the feeling of home in Tennessee and especially the ridges and hollows near the place of his upbringing. A fan of Livingston Academy sports, Cecil could name not only the players but also their parents. If a sport had a last name of "ball", Cecil was a fan. Cecil took pride in his farming skills and appreciated the feeling of a good days work. While his job was as a cable lineman in the Telecommunications field, Cecil enjoyed getting away from time to time to bass fish. We could probably tell you more but we will end by adding, in the words of Cecil, "And all that jazz!"
