Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Ledbetter Isabell, age 70, of Livingston will be conducted 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Jordan Danner will officiate. Burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.
Mrs. Doris passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, September 19, 2021 from her residence. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on March 10, 1951 to the late Delbert Ray Ledbetter and Eula Mae Thompson Spear. Doris was a member of the West End Church of Christ. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed family gatherings. Doris enjoyed going to church, the beach, yard sales, and shopping. She truly loved people and life in general.
Doris leaves behind her sons, Michael Melton and wife Regina of Somerset, KY, Danny Melton and wife Glenda, of Somerset, KY, Billy Isabell of Livingston, TN, Howard Isabell, Jr. of Celina, TN, and James Isabell and wife Barbara of Celina, TN; daughter, Donna Middleton and husband Kevin of Mauriceville, TX; grandchildren, Patrick and Sarah Melton, Michael Ray Junior Melton, Alicia Melton, Moriah Melton, Travis Turner, Trevor Turner, Nikkie and Matt Brown, Jordan and Samantha Isabell, Christopher Isabell, Billy Wayne Isabell, Cody Isabell, Maggie Isabell, Silas Ivy, George Ivy, and Jessica Handsborough; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Gore of Livingston, TN, Vickie Garrett and husband Joe of Livingston, TN, and Shelia Christan and husband Truman of Columbus, IN.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Denvil Isabell; son, Timmy Earl Melton; stepfather, Lester Spear; sisters, Virginia Ann Jones, and Barbara Sue Brown; brothers, James Ledbetter, and Joe Spear; granddaughter, Lucianna Daisy Melton.
Pallbearers to serve are James Isabell, Howard Isabell, Jr., Matt Brown, Patrick Melton, Jordan Isabell, and Jody Melton.
