Livingston Funeral Home - Earl G. Watkins

Funeral Services for Mr. Earl G. Watkins, age 80 of Livingston, will be conducted 3 PM Sunday, March 28th, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. John Keith will officiate.  Burial will be in Hoover Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 PM until 9 PM at Livingston Funeral Home.

Earl passed from this life on Thursday evening, March 25, 2021, from his residence.  He was born in Overton County on April 1, 1940, to the late Albert Clyde and Ruby Cantrell Watkins.  Earl enjoyed talking on his CB radio and trading with people.  He always loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandson.

Mr. Watkins leaves behind his sons Randy Watkins and wife Vicki of Monroe and Scotty Watkins and wife Elaine of Pall Mall; grandchildren Justin Watkins and wife Laura of Rickman, Katy Smith of Monroe, and Rylee Smith of Monroe; sisters Johnnie Holman and husband Kenny of Hermitage, Patricia Gore of Livingston, Janie Smith and husband Harold of Livingston, and Betty Sells and husband Ray of Mt. Juliet; brothers Fred Watkins and wife Diane of Cookeville and Paul Watkins and wife Linda of Murfreesboro; several nieces and nephews; and special caregiver Amanda Watkins.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his wife Sonja Watkins; brothers Billy Ray Watkins, Rick Watkins, and Jack Watkins; and sisters Mary Jo Watkins Dailey and Brenda Dailey.

Pallbearers to serve are Jackie Watkins, Kevin Watkins, Justin Watkins, Chad Holman, John Ross Watkins, and Todd Watkins.
