Livingston Funeral Home - Etta M. Hammock

Funeral Services for Mrs. Etta M. Walker Hammock, age 77, of Allons will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Mark Neely will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Etta passed from this life on Sunday morning, November 1, 2020 from the comfort of her home in Allons.  She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on April 14, 1943 to the late Odell & Lois Vaughn Walker.  Etta was a member of the Christian Community Church.  She enjoyed embroidery, and going to church.  Her greatest joy was her family and spending time with them.

Etta leaves behind her daughter, Brenda Walls & husband Ricky of Allons, TN; sons, Jeff Hammock & wife Shelia of Allons, TN, James Hammock of Georgia, and Ed Hammock, Jr. & wife Charlotte of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Heath & Ethan Walls, Christopher, Brandy, Josh ,and Matthew Hammock, Ashley Hammock Cummings, Amanda Williams, James Hammock, Jr, Nikki Hammock, and Heather Carter; 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Etta was preceded in death by her sons, Michael and Greg Hammock.

Pallbearers to serve are Heath Walls, Ethan Walls, Christopher Hammock, Matthew Hammock, Josh Hammock, and David Bell.
