Funeral Services for Mr. George Stephen Copeland, age 75, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, October 1, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Jerry Murphy will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Copeland Cemetery on Conatser Lane.  Military Honors will be provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services from the Livingston Funeral Home.  

Steve passed from this life on Thursday morning, September 28, 2023, from his home in Livingston.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on March 13, 1948, to the late Jimmy Van and Leida Ringley Copeland.   Steve loved his family dearly.  He enjoyed working with guns, knives, and playing several musical instruments.  

Steve leaves behind his son, Craig Copeland of Livingston, TN; daughter, Kimberly Copeland of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Courtney Copeland, Kennedy Hawkins, Stephen Copeland, Taylor Duke and Shelby Fuller; great-grandchildren, Kyriene Crawford, and Graisen Copeland; also, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Carr Copeland; brothers, James and Billy Ray Copeland; sisters, Sue Ann Sells, and Deloris Gaye Stephens. 

Pallbearers to serve are Craig Copeland, Stephen Copeland, and Bobby Hawkins.
