Funeral Services for Mr. Cecil Henderson “Henry” Young, age 70, of Cookeville, Tennessee will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Cross will officiate. Burial to follow in the Beaty Cemetery in Monroe, TN. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 pm and Saturday from 1-3 pm at Livingston Funeral Home.

Henry passed from this life on Wednesday April 27, 2022 in Nashville, TN. He was born in Livingston, TN on March 10, 1952, to the late Orbit Cecil and Pauline Johnson Young.

No matter when or where you would see Henry, he always had a big welcoming smile. Known by his family as the social bug, he never met a stranger and was always ready for a good conversation. Henry loved to travel whether it be a cruise, a road trip, or camping. He was always up for a new adventure, but his true passion was dancing with his wife Patricia. If they knew one of their favorite bands were playing, you would most likely see them there dancing the longest and smiling the biggest.

Henry leaves behind his loving wife, Patricia Coe Young of Cookeville, TN; and children: Amanda Blankenship and husband Jerry, Chad Young and wife Jane, Bradley Valentine and fiancé Katie, Kristy Preece and husband Jonathan; grandchildren: Andrea Winningham and Kyle Jolley, Caleb Young and wife Hannah, Avery Taylor, Hannah Gore and husband Tyler, Alivia Blankenship and Dakota Bowman; great-grandchildren: Aubrey, Jaylen, Rhett, Weston, and Kevin Cole; brothers: Gary Young and wife Linda, Jeff Young and wife Missy; sister: Mary Anna Garrett; brother-in-law: Richard Coe and wife Luann; sister-in-law: Rhonda Graham and husband Buddy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
