Livingston Funeral Home - Johnny A. Cope

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny A. Cope, age 70, of the Greenbriar Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Rick Cross will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Aarons Chapel Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m., at Livingston Funeral Home.

Johnny passed from this life from his home on Sunday morning, March 19, 2023.  He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 14, 1952, to the late Howard and Edith Clayborn Cope.  Johnny worked many years in Auto Parts Manufacturing.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and watching westerns.  His family was the love and joy of his life.  

Johnny leaves behind his son, Jason Cope of Hilham, TN; daughter, Cindy Allen of Hilham, TN; grandchildren, Amber Greenwood, Haley Prichard, Tyler Cates, Isacc Steward, Jasmine Cope, and Jacob Cope; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Wilma Rockwell and husband Ray of Livingston, TN, Carol Ray of Fishers, IN, and Kathy Neal and husband Mark of Livingston, TN; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Marcia Geesling Cope; son, Jamie Cope; grandson, Braden Allen; great-granddaughter, Brielle Steward; and brother, Lester Cope.
