Funeral Services for Mrs. Joyce V. Sidwell, age 87, of Livingston will be conducted 12 noon, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Cliff Jones will officiate. Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.at Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Joyce passed from this life on Sunday morning, March 10, 2024, from the Livingston Regional Medical Center.  She was born in the Willow Grove Community, on September 14, 1936, to the late Robert D and Ora Lee Taylor Dennis.  A member of the Church of Christ, Joyce was a 1953 graduate of Livingston Academy. She worked many years as a legal assistant for Bruce Myers Law Office.  Joyce enjoyed her bowling league in her younger years.  She was known for her beautiful flowers and her bountiful garden.  Joyce also enjoyed crocheting and reading, but her greatest joy in life was taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce leaves behind her daughters, Dale Key of Livingston, TN, and Denise Fletcher and husband Bill of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Rebecca Vaughn and husband Jerry of Monroe, TN, David Key and wife Jennifer of Cookeville, TN, and Mark Key of Livingston, TN; great-grandchildren, Maggie, Abby, and Zoey Vaughn, and Matthew, Grant, and Luke Key; sister, Sandra Brown and husband Tom of Baxter, TN; also, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Arlis Ray Sidwell; sister, Anna Jo Reagan; and brothers, Fred "Peanut" Dennis, Bobby Dennis and infant brother.
