Livingston Funeral Home - Kathy E. Long

Funeral Services for Mrs. Kathy E. Long, age 69, of Alpine will be conducted 10 a.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Donovan Savage will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  The family will welcome friends on Sunday morning from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Kathy passed from this life on Thursday evening, September 21, 2023, from the comforts of her home in Alpine.  She was born in Albany, Kentucky on March 20, 1954, to the late Clay Thomas and Clarine Bates Beaty.  She was a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ.  Kathy loved traveling to many places especially Dollywood.  She never missed a chance to see Aaron Tippin and Mike Snider.  Eating out at the Blue Circle "Stover's" and the Garden Cafe was her favorite pastime. 

Kathy leaves behind her brothers, Tommy Beaty of Pall Mall, TN, Kenny Beaty and wife Linda of Pall Mall, TN, and Jim Beaty and wife Carol of Alpine. TN; nieces, Stacy Story, Christina Ogletree and husband Jordan, and Michelle Savage and husband Donovan; nephew, Andy Lee and wife Becca

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Ray Long; sisters, Peggy Lee, and Nellie Beaty; great niece, Bella Rae Ogletree.

Pallbearers to serve are Jim Beaty, Kenny Beaty, Tommy Beaty, Donovan Savage, Jordan Ogletree, and Carter Savage.
