Lance Page Bowman, of the Dry Hollow Community, passed away on Sunday, November 9th, at the age of 46.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bowman will be Sunday, November 16th, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Nolan Cantrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 15th, from 5 p.m.–9 p.m.

Lance was a kind, loving, and hardheaded soul—someone who was always down for a good time and could make anyone laugh with his sharp wit and easy humor. His laughter, his smile, and the sound of his voice will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was incredibly smart and talented; there wasn’t much Lance couldn’t do or didn’t know. Whether he was joking around, sharing stories, or lending a helping hand, he brought warmth and life to every room he entered. His family was his greatest pride—he loved them fiercely and spoke often of how proud he was of his daughters.

Lance loved living life to the fullest. He enjoyed being on the water, scuba diving, woodworking, working with horses, cooking, and hosting his annual pig roast. He was a bit of a pretend cowboy, always ready for an adventure or a good laugh. More than anything, he loved spending time with his girls—they were his greatest joy in life. He also loved aggravating everyone just to get a good laugh out of them, a habit that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Lance is survived by his daughters, Paige Little and Madison Bowman; his sister, Thelma Bowman; his grandmother, Dora Staggs; his granddaughter, Leah Little; and a large extended family who loved him deeply.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Vicky Bowman, and his grandfather, T.V. Staggs.

Though his time here was far too short, the love and memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Lance will be remembered for his humor, his heart, and his unwavering love for his family.
