Livingston Funeral Home - Linda Jewel Powell

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Jewel Powell, age 67 of Monterey, will be conducted 10 AM Tuesday, November 22nd from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Rev. Roger Powell will officiate.  Burial will be in the Norrod Cemetery in Hanging Limb.  The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 PM at Livingston Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Powell passed from this life on Friday evening, November 18, 2022, from TriStar Medical Center in Hermitage.  She was born in Putnam County on July 24, 1955, to the late Harson and Beulah Mae Phillips.  Linda loved going on vacations with her family and watching Westerns on the television.

Mrs. Powell leaves behind her daughters Crystal Moore and husband David of Livingston and Linda Kingman and husband Bronson of Allons; son James Beason of Monterey; grandchildren Natasha Moore, Alyssa Moore, Madison Kingman, and Joseph Kingman; step-grandson Dillon Kingman; sisters Shirley Vaughn of Lovejoy and Kay Jernigan and special friend Marshall Floyd of Monterey; brothers Jimmy Phillips and wife Gail of Monterey, Steven Phillips and wife Judy of Monterey, and Jackie Phillips and wife Darlene of Monterey; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Powell; brothers Johnny Phillips, Bracy Phillips, and Beacher Phillips; nephew Lance Phillips; niece Amanda Phillips; and brothers-in-law Dennis Vaughn and Dewain Jernigan.

Pallbearers to serve are Douglas Phillips, Michael Phillips, Bruce Phillips, Bronson Kingman, Jackie Phillips, Jimmy Phillips, Steven Phillips, and David Moore.
