Livingston Funeral Home - Louis Smith

Funeral Services for Mr. Louis Smith, age 88, of Allons, will be conducted 3 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2023, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Randy Alsip and Bro. Rick Carpenter will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Timothy.  The family will welcome friends on Friday from 1 p.m., until time of services.

Mr. Louis passed from this life on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023, from the Overton County Health and Rehab.  He was born at home in the Timothy Community on June 13, 1935, to the late Walter and Mary Sells Smith.  Louis was a member of the Allons Baptist Church.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed Nascar Races.  His greatest joy was his family, gospel music and going to church.

Louis leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Parazetta Davis Smith of Allons, TN; sons, Donald Smith of Algood, TN, and Steve Harris of Dayton, OH; daughters, Amanda Scott of Algood, TN, and Lisa Mueller and husband Matthew of Los Angeles, CA; grandson, Aaron Threet; brothers, Peck Smith and wife Jean of Livingston, TN, and Bruce Smith of Allons, TN.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his daughter, Christy Reagan; sisters, Clarie Hunter, Maxine Harlow, and Ruby Maynord; brothers, Delon Smith and Talmadgene Smith. and grandson, Brandon Threet.
