Funeral Services for Mrs. Peggy Ann Taylor, age 72 of Monroe, will be conducted 1 PM Wednesday, January 11th, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. John Dietz and Bro. Bobby White will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Bethel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 until 9 PM and again on Wednesday morning from 10 AM until the time of services at 1 PM.
Mrs. Taylor passed from this life on Friday, January 6, 2023, from Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was born in Overton County on November 25, 1950, to the late Martin Ray and Ida Allene Reagan White. Peggy loved spending time with her family, crocheting, and working at her church with her late husband Irvin.
Mrs. Taylor leaves behind her sons Michael Wayne Taylor and wife Traci of Livingston and Robert Bond and wife Joyce of Byrdstown; daughters Vickie Lynn Colson of Livingston and Melinda Faye Taylor of Avon, Indiana; grandchildren Nicholas Jacobs, Vivian Newton and husband Kyle, Natasha Collins and husband Brad, Gavin Taylor, Landin Taylor, Aaron Batten, and Madison Batten; great grandchildren Emily Jacobs, Harper Jane Collins, Charlotte Newton, and Camden Collins; brothers Bobby White and wife Wanda of Livingston, David White and wife Georgia of Monroe, and Jeff White of Anderson, Indiana; sister Hettie Sue Dishman of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Taylor and sisters Ina Dean Colson and Mary Ruth White.
Pallbearers to serve are Mike Taylor, Landin Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Nick Jacobs, Aaron Batten, and Brad Collins. Honorary Pallbearer will be Scotty Westmoreland and David White.
