Age 99, of the Tower Hill Rd, Livingston Tn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Juanita Little Maynord, age 99, of the Tower Hill Community, will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. John Copeland will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.

The family will welcome friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sadie gently passed from this life on the afternoon of Monday, April 21, 2025, from the comfort of her home, just the way she would have wanted — surrounded by love.

Born at home in Allons, Tennessee, on Christmas Day, 1925, to the late Verdie G. Little and Nettie Langford Little, Sadie was truly a gift to her family and all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Livingston Academy, Class of 1945, Sadie was voted the “Class Sweetheart,” and it’s no wonder — she carried that same sweet spirit throughout her entire life. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother — but above all, she was everyone’s “Grannie.” She poured love into her family every single day, in quiet ways and big ways alike.

Grannie Sadie had a gift for turning simple yarn into treasured keepsakes. Her crocheting needle stayed busy, creating beautiful pieces for those she loved. She found delight in her flower beds, watching the birds from her window, and digging deep into her family’s roots. She knew the names and stories of generations past and passed them down with pride, keeping her family’s legacy alive.

She is lovingly remembered by her children:
