Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Noel Key, age 57, will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home, with Bro. Denton Hummel officiating. Burial will follow at Okolona Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening, October 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.

Stephen passed away at his home in Livingston on Saturday, October 26, 2024. He was born on July 28, 1967, in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late Lorene Kindrick Key and Noel R. Key. A proud 1985 graduate of Livingston Academy, Stephen was a man of faith and a devoted Baptist.

Stephen had a passion for the outdoors, often found collecting firearms or reloading ammunition, and enjoyed the serenity of being in nature. His true joy, however, came from his love of sports, particularly his undying devotion to UT Football, the Tennessee Titans, and the Nashville Predators. But above all, Stephen’s greatest source of pride and happiness was his family. He treasured the moments spent with his children and adored his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and laughter.

Stephen is survived by his daughter, Kellei Troxell of Algood, TN; his son, Matthew Key of Livingston, TN; his father, Noel Key of Livingston, TN; and his cherished grandchildren, Landon Troxell and Emalie Troxell. He is also survived by his brother, Terry Glen Key and wife Debbie of Livingston, TN, and his first wife, Laura Smith Davis, of Livingston, TN, who remained a special part of his life and the mother of his children.

In addition to his mother, Lorene Key, Stephen was preceded in death by several family members who had a lasting impact on his life.

Serving as pallbearers are Jordan Troxell, Trevor Cooper, David Harris, Skyler Bouslog, George Hatley, and Landon Troxell.

Stephen will always be remembered for his love of family, his zest for life, and his unwavering loyalty to the things that mattered most to him. He lived his life with a generous spirit, a sharp sense of humor, and a deep connection to those he loved. He will be missed but never forgotten, and his memory will continue to bring warmth and comfort to all who knew him.
