Celebrating the Life of Mrs. V. Rose Jones-Warren
August 17, 1941 – May 6, 2025

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. V. Rose Jones-Warren, age 83, of Livingston, Tennessee, and formerly of Oklahoma, will be held at a later date in her home state of Oklahoma.

Rose passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, surrounded by the comfort and love of her family. Born in Hulbert, Oklahoma, on August 17, 1941, to the late Ed Jones and Mollie Steeley Jones, Rose was a woman who embraced the simple joys of life with grace and gratitude.

She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ, and her faith was the quiet strength behind her warm, thoughtful spirit. Nothing brought Rose more happiness than a good book and the open road. Whether curled up with a novel or riding across the country in her motorhome with her beloved late husband, William Thomas Warren, Rose found beauty in the stories she read and the places she explored. Together, they traveled from Alaska to Tennessee, savoring each mile and moment.

Rose is lovingly remembered by her sons:
Kelly Warren and wife Darlene of Livingston, TN, and
William “Bill” Warren and wife Pam of Berea, KY.

She also leaves behind a beautiful legacy of family:

3 great-great-grandchildren, with one more on the way

Also surviving are her sister, Carla Warren of Georgia; brothers, Carl Jones and Albert Jones (wife Wanda) of Oklahoma.

She was welcomed into eternal rest by her husband, William Thomas Warren; her sister, Donna Buford; her brother, L.E. Jones; and her parents.

Rose will be remembered for her curiosity, her love of the written word, and the many miles of memories she shared with those she loved. Her story continues in the lives of her family and all who knew her.
