Livingston Funeral Home - Willie Phillips

Graveside Services for Mr. Willie B. Phillips, age 86, of Hilham will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 from the Aaron Chapel Cemetery.  Bro. Sonny Gilpatrick and Bro. Ronnie McCowan will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Willie passed from this life on Tuesday evening, December 29, 2020 from the Signature Health Care in Algood.  He was born in the Greenbriar Community of Hilham, Tennessee on April 3, 1934 to the late Buren and Mary Ethel Young Phillips.  Willie was the oldest of seven children.  He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren  Willie enjoyed farming, his dog, eating out, his church family and family gatherings.

Willie leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Mrs. Mascle Guffey Phillips; sons, Willie B. Phillips, Jr. and wife Lana, Billy Phillips and wife Lesa, and Donnie Phillips and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Courtney King and husband James, Charity Phillips, Ethan Phillips, Roxanne Sidwell and Husband Jason, Brittany Haggard and husband Matt, Felicia Phillips, Brandy Beaty and Logan Beaty and wife Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Katelyn King, Lenae Myers, Millie Jo Haggard, Kayson Phillips, Azreal Linder, Nora Beaty, and Bo Beaty; brother, Johnny Joe Phillips and wife Martha; sister, Mary Alice Buck; sister-in-law, Mable Newberry and husband Earl and Opal Guffey; also many wonderful nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his sister, Willa Dean Neely; brothers, Haywood, Thurman, and Howard Phillips; brother-in-laws, Noel, Delmer, and Elmer Guffey; sister-in-law Myrle "TG" Wilson and husband Erza.
