Livingston Funeral Home - Wilma York

Funeral Services for Mrs. Wilma Faye McCormick York, age 72, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Donnie Davidson will officiate.  Burial to follow in the Dugan Smith Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends on Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until time of services at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilma passed from this life from the comfort of her home on Monday morning, April 26, 2021.  She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on September 17, 1948 to the late Bill and Lena Turner McCormick.  Baptist in faith, Wilma enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting and antiques.  Her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren.  Wilma also enjoyed country music especially Conway Twitty.

Wilma leaves behind her son, Johnny York and wife Amy of Alpine, TN; daughters, Patty Hall and husband William of Monroe, TN, and Patricia Reagan of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, James Price York, Jonah Hall, Autum Hall, Ethan Reagan, and Bethany Reagan; sisters, Billie Smith and husband Jesse of Alpine, TN, Barbara Walker of Byrdstown, TN, Ruth McCormick, June Bilbrey, and Lucille Linder all of Livingston, TN, and Nell Parker of Georgia; brothers, James McCormick of Indiana; several nieces and  nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil York; brothers, William "Buck" McCormick, and Andy Turner; sisters, Dean Boles, and Betty Jo Hensley.
