Livingston Funeral Home - Winnie Ann Dailey Obituary

Funeral Services for Mrs. Winnie Ann Dailey, age 80 of Livingston, will be conducted 2 PM Thursday, September 2nd, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.  Bro. Steven Barlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Conner Cemetery on Heard Ridge Road.  The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 PM at Livingston Funeral Home.

Winnie Ann passed from this life on Sunday morning, August 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family from the comfort of her home.

Winnie Ann was born in Pickett County to the late Johnnie Jackson and Bithie Ada (Phillips) Conner.

Winnie Ann was a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.  Winnie Ann worked at the shirt factory before becoming a nurse assistant/caregiver at Ladyann Memorial Hospital and at Livingston Regional Hospital.  Then she spent her time farming and taking care of her home.  She took the most pride and joy in taking care of her grandchildren and family and watching her great grandchildren grow.

Winnie Ann enjoyed gardening, working her flower beds, farming, fishing, cooking for her family, doing the crossword puzzles in the TV Guide, and watching the Price is Right with Bob Barker.  She loved games like in the yard playing croquet to being inside with family playing card games like Yahtzee, Pinochla, and Rook where she loved to "Shoot the Moon."  She also loved John Wayne movies and the Tennessee Titans.

Winnie Ann leaves behind her daughters Debbie Smith of Livingston and Pam Nolen of Livingston; grandchildren Jonathan Smith and wife Wendy, Britany Qualls and husband Scotty, April Nolen, Heather Nolen, Josh Nolen and wife Tamara; great grandchildren Seth, Sara Ann, Shayleigh, Sophia, Sawyer, Silas, Quinton, Bailey, Taylor, and Weston; brothers Cecil Conner of Monroe, Robert Shirley Conner of Gameliel, Kentucky, and Steve Conner of Florida and Ohio; sisters Opal Richardson of Missouri and Charlett Moore of California; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Winnie Ann was preceded in death by her husband Edward Dailey, brother Larry Conner of Ohio, and sister Geneva Staggs of Allons.

Pallbearers to serve are Jonathan Smith, Scotty Qualls, Josh Nolen, Seth Smith, Quinton Qualls, Robert Conner, Eric Conner, and James Speck.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sawyer and Silas Smith and Weston Nolen.

The family would like to thank Quality Home Health and Private Duty for the Nurses, CNA's and homemakers, who have help care for Granny Winnie Ann.. A very special thank you to Tonia King, CNA with Quality Home Health and a very special thank you to her doctor, Dr. Kenneth Colburn.
