Memorial Services for Alex Krantz, age 11, of the Highland Mountain Community will be conducted 4 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2021 from the Livingston Central Park. Bro. Timmy Ray and Bro. Doug Smith will officiate. Burial to follow in the Archibald Qualls Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday afternoon from 3 p.m. until time of services at the Livingston Central Park.
Alex passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, May 27, 2021 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on August 31, 2009 to Amanda Johnson Krantz and the late Gabe Krantz. Alex like his late father, and grandfather loved being outdoors, and being on his family farm. He enjoyed being with his friends, loved music especially collecting vinyl records, and playing his xbox. Alex loved his family especially his sister Jewel and cousin Walker.
Alex leaves behind his mother, Amanda Krantz of the Highland Mountain Community; sisters, Macie Krantz, and Jewel Beth Krantz both of the Highland Mountain Community; grandparents, Angie Krantz of the Dry Hollow Community, and Wesley and Gayle Johnson of Byrdstown, TN; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Smith of Livingston, TN; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Wanda Krantz of Monterey, TN; aunts, Pat Krantz and Joann Livingston both of the Dry Hollow Community, and Vivian Brown of Tip City, OH; uncle, Brandon Johnson of Cookeville, TN; also several cousins.
Alex was preceded in death by his father, Gabe Krantz and grandfather, Tony Krantz.
