Graveside Services for Mr. Allon White, age 88, of Livingston will be conducted 4 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021 from the Good Hope Annex Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.  Bro. Alan Judd, and Bro. Buddy Johnson will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the Graveside.

Mr. White passed from this life on Friday evening, January 15, 2021 from his home in Livingston.  He was born in Livingston, Tennessee on August 5, 1932.  Allon was a 1951 graduate of Livingston Academy, where he went on to serve his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.  As a senior in High School his eyes caught his attention of a lovely young freshman girl named Ethel Elizabeth Fleming and they soon started courting.  Which worked out well for Allon and his twin brother who was courting Ethel's first cousin.  He and his brother both soon graduated Livingston Academy, and left for Michigan to work.  A year later he joined the Navy and set off for California for training.  During his break in training, he came back to Tennessee and married Ethel and the rest was history.  Allon was a member of the Allons Church of Christ.  He enjoyed gardening, yard work, his fruit trees, and sitting on the porch with his dogs.  Allon was always a very hard worker and enjoyed being with his family.

Allon leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Ethel White, of Livingston, TN; daughters, Karen Baltimore and husband Allen of Livingston, TN, and Anita Burnett and husband Lynn of Livingston, TN; grandchildren, Dana Byrd and husband Robert, David Burnett and wife Angela, Westley Burnett and wife Megan, Jenna Medley and husband Jonathan, Kasey Dickerson and husband Kyle, Allie Stover and husband Travis, and Jaci Baltimore fiance Kaleb Qualls; great-grandchildren, Aden Byrd, Austin Byrd, and Alex Byrd, Emma Burnett, Ella Burnett, Ethan Burnett, Bryce Burnett, and Blakely Burnett, Avery Medley, Tucker Medley, and Ellie Medley, Ezra Dickerson, and Magnolia Kate Dickerson, and Finley Stover, and Norah Jane Stover. twin brother, Allard White and wife Naomi, of Livingston, TN; nieces, Vivan Walker, and Vicki White; nephew, David White.

Allon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Addie White.

Pallbearers to serve are Westley Burnett, David Burnett, Jonathan Medley, Kyle Dickerson, Travis Stover, Robert Byrd, Kaleb Qualls, and Aden Byrd.
