Speck Funeral Home - Andrew Sivo

Mr. Andrew R. Sivo III,  age 70, of the Rickman Community, of Overton County passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, August 26, 2021 from the Signature Healthcare System in Cookeville.  Andy was born August 20, 1951 in Trenton, New Jersey to Marian Kauffman Sivo the late Andrew R. Sivo, Jr.  Andrew served his country as a United States Marines from 1970 to 1972.  After coming back home, he served as a detective for the Mercer County Sheriffs Department until his retirement.  Andrew was a Chaplin for the Elk Lodge #2262, a member of the Shepherds Chapel Church and a member of the Police Benevolent Association Union # 187.  After retirement he moved to Elk Horn, Kentucky where he enjoyed farming, fishing, and raising bison.  In 2011, Andy moved to Rickman, Tennessee to live with his late wife Mala Terry Sivo, where they would spend the remainder of their lives making wonderful memories together.

Andy leaves behind his son, David P. Sivo, of Pensacola, FL; brother, Richard Sivo and wife Debra of Piscataway, NJ; mother, Marian Sivo of Edison, NJ; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends and neighbors.

In addition to his father, Andy was preceded in death by his wife Mala Terry Sivo, who passed in July;  and his first wife, Kathleen M. Kosco Sivo; and sister, Mary Ann Prill.
