Speck Funeral Home - Ann Crabtree

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Crabtree, age 73 of Monroe, will be conducted 2 PM Monday, March 21, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston.  Bro. Timmy Ray will officiate. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 6 until 9 PM. 
 

Mrs. Crabtree passed from this life on Friday, March 18, 2022, from Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Overton County on May 20, 1948, to the late Harmon and Velva Cooper Smith.  Ann loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening, and playing cards.

Mrs. Crabtree leaves behind her son Jamie Crabtree of Monroe; daughter Nancy Hill and husband Danny of Monroe; Dawson Crabtree, Daniel Hill, Emily Hill, and John Hill; brother Howard Smith and wife Reda of Alpine; sisters Hallie Armstrong of Maryland, Ruth Cooper of Indiana, Betty Story and husband Leon of Alpine, and Judy Choate and husband Carlis of King Mountain, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and several special friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crabtree was preceded in death by her husband Robert Crabtree; brothers Bill Smith and wife Bonita, Arlin Smith and wife Margaret, Bobby Smith, and Bates Smith; and brothers-in-law Jim Armstrong and Lester Cooper. 
 

Pallbearers to serve are Scott Choate, Tommy Cooper, Shawn Crabtree, Mike Smith, Tom Hargis, and Jeff Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Hill, John Hill, and Dawson Crabtree.
